Our kids have been learning about the ANZACs and the ANZAC Centenary in school this year. They're getting older and more interested in events like ANZAC Day and so this year we all took a ride into Brisbane city to watch some of the ANZAC parade. The weather was beautiful, there was a well-timed flyover by the Air Force just as we were walking through ANZAC Square, and after finding a spot on the parade route the kids sat down and watch the marchers go past with great interest. We all agree to go again next year.
