The mini train rides on Bribie Island. These things are proper coal burning steam engines. They are a local club with a few hundred meters of track built through an area of bushland and a little train station and everything. Most of the train drivers were old fellows, quite a hobby for them, must keep them busy. Third Sunday each month they open up to the public for rides and to raise a few dollars. Some of the adults seem to enjoy it more than the kids.
Details for the next one here (it runs every month I'm told).
